Luka Chocolates is an artisan chocolate company located on NSW’s Central Coast. For the last 4 years we have been based out of the Wyong Milk Factory about half way between Sydney and the Hunter Valley and Newcastle and only 5 minutes off the Wyong and Tuggerah exit on the M1 freeway.
As you would expect from a chocolate company we absolutely love chocolate. We love the flavours, the textures, the variety, the way people react when they taste our chocolate, seeing kids trying to pick the one they want.......you get the idea.
Given how much we love chocolate, we have decided to start an online blog all about what we do at Luka Chocolates so that our customers and people who visit our website can learn about all the different aspects of chocolate making and can get a sense of the fun things we get to do everyday.
For the next 12 months, we plan to post every 3-4 weeks on topics ranging from chocolate tempering, ideas for corporate events, to the difference between couverture and compound chocolate(we only use couverture chocolate) and how we prepare for the Easter chocolate gift season.
We are looking forward to posting soon and would love to get your feedback or hear from you about any aspects of chocolate making you would like to hear more about.
